Today Jack Hayley stepped down as a lay minister of the Eucharist after more than 25 years in this ministry. He started distributing communion at care homes and in individual homes shortly after retiring from full-time employment. A special farewell and thank you took place today at Lovat House Care Home in Wokingham.
