Update September 2021
We are happy to announce that we will be re-starting our family services in church from September. These are aimed at families with Primary school age children and younger.
- 26th September – Harvest Festival
- 31st October – All Saints Festival
- 28th November – Start of Advent
- 19th December – Christmas Service
We are currently reviewing our youth groups and how and when we can re-start.
Family Service At Home
For the past few months we have been providing a weekly email, with a theme or thought. This has included craft activities, songs and prayers which families can engage with at home. Although we are no longer sending theses weekly emails, all our previous emails are still available. Click Here
We hope that children will always feel welcome in church. With this in mind, we have various options for children and young people and their families. In ‘normal times’ the following options are available:
11am Family Services – now every week
Every week we hold a Family Service, approx. 30mins long, which includes singing, craft and a short child-friendly talk. Click here for details and dates
Junior Church and X-Plore Youth Group
Junior Church and our ‘X-Plore’ youth group meet during the 9:30am Parish Communion service, every Sunday during term time. These enable children and young people to spend time with their peers learning about God through craft, games and activities, whilst their parents or carers attend the service in Church. For more information please click here.
2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. If you would like to join us for Messy Church – this is held during term time in the Cornerstone on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, after school until 4.45pm. This is aimed at accompanied children and includes snacks, craft, stories and songs and is meant to introduce the Church and Christian faith in a relaxed and informal way. Please click here for dates and more information
A Communion service every Wednesday at 10am, for parents and carers of pre-school age children. We gather in a circle around the nave altar. There are toys and books available for the children and babies to play with during the service and then everyone goes to the Cornerstone for refreshments.
