- The church is a fantastic space for concerts and has been utilised in recent months by Wokingham Choral Society and Trinity Concert band. We are now taking books for Christmas concerts and even concerts next summer!
Concerts, recitals, art exhibitions – the church is a space in your community that is now flexible and open to all sorts of arts and culture events. With a new café space, toilets, amazing acoustics and a large and beautiful space we are the new venue that could host your event. The church will be open during the day Monday to Friday and with our new café space and other groups using the facilities it is a great opportunity for artists wishing to show case their work to a steady stream of people coming through our doors. For choirs or musical groups wishing to hire the whole church for an evening concert you can have exclusive use and set up time by arrangement, see below for costs (prices subject to change). With wooden chairs at your disposal, you can arrange the church as you wish.
Hirers will also be able to use our café space including tables and chairs and crockery and subject to the correct licensing can offer a bar for their event. The church will allocate hirers a volunteer ‘host’ for their booking to ensure that things run smoothly and that the church is left ready for the next day. Note that we also have the Cornerstone facilities next door and there may be an option to hire both spaces if needed.
