The Course
If you are looking to find out more about being a Christian, or just wanting to take steps to explore what it means generally, consider joining our “Turning to Christ “ course.
The course is based on the promises a person makes when they are baptised as a Christian. It covers topics such as what it means to believe in God, to follow Jesus , to receive the Holy Spirit, and what repentance means. Course authors include the current Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell and the current Bishop of Oxford Steven Croft, and a leading expert on the Bible Canon Paula Gooder. It is delivered using videos, a course booklet, and group discussion led by our Rector, Canon David Hodgson, and other members of our ministry team
We can offer face-to face sessions or online sessions depending on the choice of the course participants. Exact dates and times will also be dependent on the needs of the participants.
