Legacy Giving

Giving money is a way of ensuring the long term sustainability of the church and continuing all the good work that we are doing now.

In the last twenty years gifts in wills have helped the church:

  • For the building and fabric – to buy new vestments and a part contribution to the spaceforall work
  • For the churchyard, they have enabled us to complete path work and the Garden of Remembrance
  • For the work of the church – to develop our modern web site and to fund deficits for our core spending

Having a will is not just for the elderly, everyone needs to do it. Some will want to go to. A solicitor but you don’t need to.  Go to the Farewill website and you can write it for yourself and for free.

The name for the beneficiary is  “Parochial Church Council of the parish of All Saints Wokingham”.

If you already have a will and do not wish to redo it, straightforward changes can be made through a Codicil. Alternatively, a Letter of Wishes has to be considered by your executors and is an easy way of achieving the same thing, so long as it does not contradict your will.
