Wokingham Fiesta Concert

Join Trinity Concert Band for an unforgettable evening of music as we bring the sounds of summer to Wokingham!

Our Wokingham Fiesta Concert promises a vibrant and exhilarating programme, featuring a mix of festival-inspired pieces, iconic film scores, and beloved musical theatre classics.

At the heart of our concert is Fiesta—a lively and spirited piece that perfectly embodies the joy of summer and lends its name to our concert title. We’ll also be showcasing the three pieces that will form our programme for the National Concert Band Festival (NCBF) finals next month.

This year marks the anniversary of two significant musical milestones, and we’ll be celebrating both! We’ll take you on a swashbuckling adventure with Pirates of the Caribbean, marking the anniversary of its 2003 premiere on the very same date. We’ll also pay tribute to the legendary composer Richard Rodgers, born on 28th June 1902, with a performance of music from The Sound of Music.

Adding to the evening’s grandeur, we’ll perform Carolean Jubilate, a stirring work composed by Lieutenant Colonel Craig Hallatt for the Coronation of King Charles III. Craig was a guest conductor at one of our annual workshops, making this piece a particularly special part of our programme.

We’ll also bring the energy of Broadway to Wokingham with a fantastic arrangement of music from the award-winning West End hit Hairspray, alongside many more exciting pieces to delight our audience.

As part of our 2025 fundraising efforts, we’ll be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, helping to support vital research and awareness for this important cause.

Come and experience the power and passion of live music with Trinity Concert Band! Secure your tickets now and get ready for a summer evening filled with spectacular sound.
