Season of Creation

Once again this year we observe the Season of Creation throughout September, culminating in our Harvest All Age celebrations on 5^th October.

The theme for this year’s Season of Creation is Peace with Creation (based on Isaiah 32:14-18) and during this time we will explore the damage we are doing to the earth and also the hope that we have for an Earth of peace and justice.

We begin the season with a visiting preacher from Environmental Charity A Rocha, Jo Herbert-James, who will be at our 9:30am service on 7^th September.

Following this at 11am we have a Bird Box Building Workshop open to all – come along and build a bird or bat box for £5, for your own garden or to donate to the churchyard

On 14^th Sept our Celtic Prayer at 6:30pm will be themed on Peace with Creation.

Sermons, hymns and prayers throughout this season will be based around this year’s theme of Peace with Creation.
