Our vision for a new, more accessible All Saints at the heart of our community has had a tremendous vote of confidence from Wokingham Town Council, which has awarded a £10,000 grant to Spaceforall, giving the project the best possible start to 2021.
Competition for the Council’s grants is keen, with a high number of applicants each time, so spaceforall’s success shows just how vital the space is for our community.
This grant – approved by the Council’s Finance and Personnel Committee just before Christmas – brings us to 40% of the funds needed for the first round of the project, and comes in addition to the £2,000 awarded by the Council at the same time for work on the churchyard.
