Ukrainian refugees and their hosts in Wokingham were welcomed at a special tea party held in The Cornerstone . The event gave the opportunity for Ukrainian families newly-arrived in Wokingham Borough to meet one another and for hosts to meet other hosts or potential hosts.
The event was organised by All Saints’ curate, The Reverend Becky Medlicott, on behalf of Churches Together in Wokingham with support from the Wokingham Borough Council team who are working with the Ukrainian families and hosts. Members of All Saints Church served refreshments and cakes etc were donated by people from across churches in Wokingham.
