TIME FOR A NEW YEAR CLEAR OUT AND RAISE MONEY FOR THE CHURCH!

Bag2school

Clothing and textile collection with Bag2School/Bag2TheFuture.

As well as raising much needed funds for our church, it also helps the environment by helping to divert unwanted textiles away from landfill.

This is a really easy way for everybody to get involved and raise money for our churches.

 

Please have a sort through of your cupboards and wardrobes.

The following ‘good quality’ items for RE-USE will be accepted:

  • Men’s, Ladies’ and Children’s clothing
  • Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)
  • Handbags
  • Hats
  • Bags
  • Scarves and ties
  • Jewellery
  • Bras
  • Belts
  • Soft toys
  • Household Linen
  • Household curtains
  • Household Towels
  • Household bedding

 

The following WILL NOT be accepted:

  • Duvets and blankets
  • Pillows and cushions
  • Carpets, rugs and mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats)
  • Soiled, painted, ripped or wet clothing
  • School uniforms with and without logos
  • Corporate clothing and workwear
  • Textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material
  • Furniture and large items
  • Batteries

All bags to be delivered to All Saints Church Wokingham (Side of the church by the door into the vestry) by Thursday 16th January for collection at 9am on Friday 17th January.
