Rise in attendance at Easter services

At All Saints Church Wokingham, there was a significant increase in attendance at church services over the Easter Triduum, the three days of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday , in 2017 compared to 2016. Rector of All Saints, Canon David Hodgson said: “Part of the increase was due to having an additional Family Service on Easter Day morning. As well as a higher attendance  this year than  Easter 2016 at the All Age Parish Communion, the addition of another service later in the morning contributed to the higher overall attendance figures for the festival. Over the three days, total attendance in 2017 was 15% greater than at Easter 2016. I am delighted that even more of our parishioners this year chose to come and celebrate the resurrection of Christ in church.”
