Whilst All Saints church is closed christenings, weddings and church funeral services are taking place in Saint Paul’s Church on Reading Road. We are very grateful to the Rector and churchwardens of St Paul’s for letting us use the church and for their help.
This coming Sunday we are christening three children – a baby, and two slightly older children, who live in the All Saints parish. They will have a slightly different story to tell about their baptism when they are older – hopefully remembering that their once-in- a lifetime christening services took place away from All Saints because of the once-in-a- lifetime changes to the church building in the parish of their birth.
