It’s a big weekend for our parish. Becky will be ordained priest tomorrow Saturday at 11am in Reading Minster (all welcome) and preside at the Parish Communion Service for the first time on Sunday at 9.30am. Please stay after the service to celebrate both Becky’s ordination and Chrispen’s completion of his pre-ordination training. We have heard that Chrispen will be ordained in his home diocese in the Caribbean on 21st August.
For spaceforall we have launched a Sponsor a Chair appeal – see the spaceforall donations webpage or the link in the e-newsletter. Please let the Parish Office know if you would like a dedication associated with your sponsored chair or chairs.
We have also started an Appeal to raise funds for the return of the rebuilt organ into the church when we re-open the church – again please see the webpage for details.
