We are looking forward to Becky’s ordination as a priest, next Saturday 25th at 11am at Reading Minister (St Mary’s). All are welcome and there is no need to register or book in advance.
Also next week we have a visit by some 25 parishioners to Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford – our cathedral church. All places are now filled. Those who were planning to travel by train – please see Lorraine abut car sharing if you have not already obtained a seat in a car.
On Wednesday 22nd the Mothers Union are giving a Platinum Jubilee tea party of strawberries and cream. This is also a fund-raiser for spaceforall and for the MU national scheme to provide holidays for families who would not otherwise have one , Away from It All (AFIA). Please register your attendance for this event – details in the fliers and posters in The Cornerstone.
