Yesterday about 9 members of the church got together on Zoom for a prayer workshop led by Gill Allen, one of the leaders of our prayer and healing ministry team. We have not been able to offer prayer ministry in the church since the start of the pandemic, even when we have had some services in church, because it involves confidential listening and speaking at close quarters. We do offer telephone prayer ministry if required – please make an appointment through contacting our Parish Office 01189792797 – leave a message that you would like to be contacted by a member of the prayer team.
In the workshop, we shared the many different ways of praying and how it works for each of us.; and looked at some of the important aspects of praying with and for others, based on the principles of person-centred prayer.
