Our parish quiet day is on Thursday 14th September at Sonning church. We are delighted that the day will be led by The Venerable Christine Allsopp. Christine began her ordained ministry in this diocese and returned here on retirement, she is currently based in Lambourne. As Archdeacon of Northampton she enjoyed supporting parishes in times of transition. She is a trustee of the Community of St Mary the Virgin, Wantage.
The quiet day is an informal day offering the opportunity for some quiet space for prayer, reading, colouring, walking and can be used how you would like. Christine will lead us in some simple worship and a few reflections throughout the day. The cost for the day is £10 payable to the parish office, just to cover the use of the venue. Please bring your own packed lunch – teas and coffee provided. Sign up in church or via the parish office.
