Palm Sunday Celebrations

We had a great day on Palm Sunday celebrating Jesus’ arrival into Jerusalem and the welcome he received! Our day began with a procession from All Saints primary school, led by donkey Velvet – who was warmly welcomed! We sang some songs and processed to the Cornerstone for our parish communion service. During this service, some of our children and youth gathered for activities including making edible Palm Sundaes and making a donkey out of cups and egg boxes! We had great fun!

Following this we had our family service where we re-enacted Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and waved our palm crosses and shakers to make a jubilant noise! Finally, after our service, we held a church lunch – it was a lovely occasion of fellowship and was attended by about 25 people. What a wonderful day of celebrations!
