More help through life’s challenges at All Saints Church

A new information point at All Saints Church will bring more help to those facing challenges in life. Placed by the entrance to the Lady Chapel the leaflet stand holds a collection of information brochures from the many charities and agencies offering help and support across the whole range of life issues that can be accessed in Wokingham. The information point complements the help offered by the church’s pastoral care teams, such as the listening and prayer ministries offered on Sunday mornings after the Parish Communion service;  and at special healing services. The Rector of All Saints, Canon David Hodgson, said; “I’m delighted to introduce this new leaflet stand in the church giving vital information and guidance on a whole range of different needs and situations people face in life. As the church is open every day the information is available throughout the week. Whilst we would encourage people to talk about their situation confidentially with a member of our listening team after a church service,  where that may not be possible the information is a signpost for anyone to access in their own time”.
