Marriage preparation at All Saints Church

Couples from Wokingham churches including All Saints took part in a marriage preparation course last Saturday.

Topics covered included the wedding service and it music and hymns, why get married in church, communication, conflict, and intimacy.

The day was facilitated by The Reverend Canon David Hodgson, Rector of All Saints Wokingham, and  The Reverend Julie Mintern, Assistant Curate of St Paul, Wokingham; with input from The Reverend Colin James, Honorary Priest at All Saints Wokingham, and Richard Smith, Director of Music at All Saints Wokingham.

One of the participants said: “It was a pefect opportunity for discussion and reflection, and to consider what marriage means and to have set the foundations for our future life together”.
