Healing ministry strengthened

Three members of All Saints’ prayer ministry and healing team were commissioned to the ministry of healing prayer with laying on of hands at a recent Sunday morning service. Jo, Maggie and Sarah had completed training earlier in the year on this aspect of ministry which equips them to assist the clergy in services and times of healing ministry.

The All Saints Church prayer ministry and healing team covers a range of ministries in the church including the healing prayer group which prays confidentially for named persons, prayer ministry after the Parish Communion services, and prayer with laying on of hands which is offered both at Parish Communion services alternate months and at special Evening Healing services on alternate months. The team is also a resource generally for knowledge and good practice in prayer and healing ministries and regularly produces information and inspirational items on this topic for the parish magazine.

Jo and Sarah are also members of the Pastoral Care team, having been commissioned as lay pastoral assistants in the parish.
