Groups visiting the churchyard

The churchyard is a public space and anyone is welcome to come and enjoy it any time they would like to.

If you are interested in bringing your school group or uniformed organisation to the churchyard then we would be very happy to facilitate this and welcome you! Recent visitors have explored biodiversity in the churchyard, done bug hunting and learnt about some of the trees, as well as learning about key features of churchyards.

We had this feedback from a recent visit (July 2023) from a local Rainbows group – “Just wanted to say thank you again for running such a fabulous nature session in your churchyard for our Rainbow group this week.  The girls really enjoyed their visit, hunting for bugs and listening for birds.  I think it was one of the best visits we have done, and was a fabulous way to finish off their badge work for this term.”

If you are interested in organising a visit, please contact the parish office on parishoffice@allsaintswokingham.org.uk
