Junior Church and X-plore Youth Group

Junior Church ages 3-10yrs

During the current coronavirus emergency Junior Church meetings have been temporarily suspended.

Following a review of our current provision for families at All Saints, we will continue to provide the opportunity for families to worship, to learn about God and to engage with the church on a regular basis. However, based on your feedback, this provision is going to look a bit different to what we have offered in the past.
Our plan for the next few months, and this will be reviewed regularly, is that we will replace the online family service with a weekly electronic mailing to families. This mailing will include a theme or thought for the week, along with ideas for crafts or activities that families can engage with at home. This will start immediately and we encourage you to get in touch with your feedback on this new provision, over the next few weeks.
Most of our families will receive this mailing automatically (and can unsubscribe any time) but if you do not receive it then please ensure that you have signed up through our website –

In ‘normal times’

Every Sunday during term time Junior Church meet in The Cornerstone (downstairs in the hall) for craft, games, prayer, singing, reading and much more! We meet at 9:25am so parents/carers can go into the 9:30am Parish Communion service while their children meet with their friends. We then go into the church about 10:10am and join in with the communion service so that children have the chance to join their families and receive communion or a blessing.

All Saints is a church which invites children to receive Holy Communion before they are confirmed. Junior Church follows a continuous programme which helps children to prepare for this, looking at topics such as Baptism, The Last Supper and The Bible.

X-plore Youth Group age 10yrs+

Currently, X-plore for older children and teens is meeting online using Zoom on Sunday mornings currently at 9am. Contact us for more details.

Children are invited to join the youth group once they go into school year 6. We meet during term time in The Cornerstone (upstairs) from 9:15am for a breakfast of toast, pastries and juice. During this time parents will usually go into the 9:30 Parish Communion service. In X-plore we generally consider the same Bible reading that is being looked at in church that week, and our sessions consist of activities, study, discussion, prayer, games and much more!

Around 10:10am we go into church and the young people can either join their families or sit with the youth group leaders.
