We hope that children will always feel welcome in church. With this in mind, we have various options for children and young people and their families.
11:30am in the Cornerstone – Family Services – now every week
Every week we hold a Family Service, approx. 30mins long, which includes singing, craft and a short child-friendly talk. This is in the Cornerstone and you must register in advance your intention to attend. Click here for details and to book
Junior Church and X-Plore Youth Group
Our Junior Church is currently suspended due to Covid-19. The ‘X-Plore’ youth group are meeting during the 10am Parish Communion service, every Sunday during term time.
These groups enable children and young people to spend time with their peers learning about God through craft, games and activities, whilst their parents or carers attend the service in Church. For more information please click here.
Messy Church is currently suspended due to Covid-19.
Usually, Messy Church runs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. If you would like to join us for Messy Church – this is held during term time in the Cornerstone, after school until 4.45pm. This is aimed at accompanied children and includes snacks, craft, stories and songs and is meant to introduce the Church and Christian faith in a relaxed and informal way. This is currently suspended due to Covid-19. We have a facebook page with weekly reflections posted on it, and we meet on zoom once a fortnight. Please contact the parish office for more info.
Usually, Wed Mums consists of a Communion service every Wednesday at 10am, for parents and carers of pre-school age children. We gather in a circle around the nave altar. There are toys and books available for the children and babies to play with during the service and then everyone goes to the Cornerstone for refreshments.
