There is one remaining session 15th June.
We will be using the short course of guided conversations – Inspiring Music in Worship – specially designed to help churches explore together how to to make the best use of music to enhance our worship.
With real-life case studies, we will have the opportunity to discover new riches and find hope in the face of challenge and unavoidable change.
As a guided conversation the atmosphere of the course is one of mutual respect and trust as we explore together this topic which is so important.
We start by looking at what it means to be a worshipping person. The first session considers what worship is and how we use music in worship.
The course goes on to look at discovering skills and releasing gifts with the aim of encouraging the engagement of every member of the congregation in worship.
There is a section on how inspiring worship can be the key to effective mission.
The course then leads us into evaluating our current worship and goes on to contribute to the church’s ongoing vision for our music and worship.
