Special services for Advent and Christmas 2019

Join us at All Saints Church during December to celebrate Advent and Christmas. There are services of different kinds to help you enter into the Christmas spirit again this year. Come and give thanks for the wonder of God’s love shown to the world in the coming of the Christ-child. There are services with lots of favourite traditional carols and services for families with young children, as well as services of sublime music sung by the church choir. Candlelight services are a special feature of All Saints Church over the Christmas period – don’t miss our Advent Candlelight service on the 1st December.

Christmas Messy Church at Montague Park

A special Christmas Messy Church run by All Saints Church in Montague Park Primary School.

Messy Church is for everyone so no unaccompanied children please. Join us for this special festive Messy Church in the school hall, with craft, stories, songs and food.

 

Children’s Nativity Service

Join the Junior Church of All Saints to present the birth of Christ.  This includes a retelling of the Christmas story. All children are welcome to join in. Time – approx. 40 mins

Service of Nine Lessons and Carols

The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in nine short Bible readings, including carols and hymns led by All Saints Church Choir.

Midnight Communion (First Communion of Christmas)

The First Communion of Christmas at All Saints Church is a beautiful candlelit service providing a moment of reflection at Christmas time.   The service includes many of the favourite festive carols. Time – approx. 70 mins
