8am Holy Communion service in church

Welcome to our 8am Communion services inside the church building
This Communion service will include bible readings, a short sermon or talk, intercessions
and the distribution of Communion. The congregation will be welcome to receive
Communion if wished in one kind ie the wafer.

Safety arrangements
The capacity of the church will be limited to about 50 with alternating pews out of use.

The services will be conducted with social distancing (2 metres) and safe, hygienic practices. Couples, households or those in a combined “bubble” will be able to sit together on a single pew.

You may be asked to wait outside for entry in order to maintain the 2m distance. The doors of the church will be opened 20 minutes before the start of the service (7.40am) whilst we prepare everything for you safely. It will be helpful if some attending choose to arrive in the first half of this 20 minute period.

Hand sanitiser will be available on entry, and you will be asked to use it. You may like to have with you your own personal wipes or mini-hand gel bottle as you prepare to receive communion.

You are required to wear a face-covering

The congregation will be asked not to remain in the building at the end of the service. It will be safer to talk to friends outside the building.

Please do not attend if you have any of the symptoms of Covid-19: a persistent dry cough, elevated temperature, loss of sense of smell or taste.

We invite you to let us know if you are planning to attend.

We are not running a booking system and no ticket is required but it will be helpful for you to advise us if you plan to attend before each service.

We invite you to indicate your plan to attend each approaching Sunday’s service using this form.

This will help us to know how many to expect but it will not guarantee a seat. In the event that there are more registrations received than there are seats we will publicise this and advise of alternative arrangements.

We are following the Government advice to collect contact details of those who attend the service. Please either register your attendance on the form above or bring a slip of paper with your name and phone number on it to the service.
