There will be Acts of Remembrance throughout the day at All Saints Church; during the 9.30am Parish Communion service with wreath-laying and 2-minute silence; at 11am at the churchyard war memorial outside the South Door with wreath-laying and 2-minute silence; and 3pm at the Civic Ecumenical Remembrance Service with 2-minute silence and bugle-player. If you wish to attend an Act of Remembrance please see the details of the individual services. You are advised that seating can be very limited at the 3pm service unless you have already been allocated a seat as a member of a local group.

A quiet meditative church service of Holy Communion with short sermon (no music). Duration: 40 -45 minutes.
10th November 2019 9:30 am - 10:30 am All Saints Parish Church Wokingham
This is the largest gathering for worship with a congregation of all age groups. It happens every Sunday of the year unless it is a special festival (see All Together Communion). It is a modern language service of Communion following the Common Worship pattern of the Church of England. Music and singing are led by one of our Church Choirs (except in school summer holidays). A sermon/address on the theme or bible readings of the day. All are welcome to receive Communion or a blessing at the altar. Confidential prayer ministry run by our care and prayer team is available after this service. Children and young people are welcome and we are a church at which children are admitted to Communion. Junior Church and Youth Church groups run concurrently in The Cornerstone. Parents, please register new children for Junior Church or Youth Church at The Cornerstone on arrival. Duration: 60-75 minutes
This Sunday there will be an Act of Remembrance during the service with the laying of wreaths at the war memorial in the church and a two-minute silence.

There will be a short act of remembrance with laying of wreaths at the war memorial in the churchyard (near South Door of church) at 11am on Sunday 10th November This is timed to coincide with the national Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

The Family Services are simple with songs, prayers and a talk for children. Each service has a clear theme. It happens every Sunday of the month and there is coffee afterwards in The Cornerstone. Please don’t ever worry that your children are too noisy for church, this is the place to try! (30 minutes)
On the 2nd Sunday of the month, it is cafe-style service in The Cornerstone (30 minutes).
On the 4th Sunday of each month it takes the form of a simple Family Communion service to which all are welcome (30 mins).

This is a quiet reflective said service of Holy Communion according to the traditional service in the Book of Common Prayer (1662). It will include a short sermon or talk based on a bible reading for the day.

There will be a Civic Service of Remembrance hosted by All Saints Church Wokingham on behalf of Churches Together in Wokingham and Wokingham Town Council. The service will be led by Canon David Hodgson, Rector of All Saints Church and Chaplain to the Berkshire High Sheriff; the preacher will be The Reverend Hannah Higginson, Associate Priest of All Saints and Chaplain to the Wokingham Town Mayor, and the prayers of intercession will be led by The Reverend Catherine Bowstead of Wokingham Methodist Church and Superintendent Minister of the Berkshire & Surrey Borders Methodist Circuit.
