1st September 2019 - 4th October 2019 All Day All Saints Parish Church Wokingham
The Season of Creation (or Creation Time) in churches begins on the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation (1st September) and lasts until the Feast of St Francis on 4th October.
During this time Christians are encouraged to celebrate the glory of God shown in creation, to pray for the protection of the creation; and to promote sustainability to reverse human damage to the environment including climate change.
At All Saints Church during Creation Time our Parish Communion service at 9.30am encourages us to cherish God’s creation using a specially-adapted liturgy.
This year the international ecumenical theme for the Season of Creation is the web of life – biodiversity as the blessing of God.

This is a special child-friendly Communion service for Harvest Festival when all ages will be in the service together throughout. The first part of the service is stream-lined and flexible to allow the full inclusion of children and young people. There are activities for children – and adults; there is an all-age talk/presentation on a theme for the day. Music by one of the All Saints choirs. All are welcome to receive Communion or a blessing at the altar. Children and young people are welcome and we are a church at which children are admitted to Communion.
