Cubs plant tree in churchyard

4th Wokingham Cubs planted a tree in the churchyard at All Saints Church recently. This was their response to the tree-planting initiative in commemoration of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. A copper beech tree was chosen to replace the old copper beech tree that had to be removed in 2021 because of disease.

More trees have also been planted in the churchyard this Spring to replace trees which were removed to improve access to the church as part of the spaceforall project to open the church building as an accessible and flexible community space.
