Community Church 2020 project launched for public consultation

All Saints Church’s plans to revitalise its church building for the future of the community reached a new milestone with the public launch of the plans. At the event, representatives of community groups and parishioners were able to view the latest plans which have been agreed, ask questions and respond with further thoughts. Presentations were given during the evening by Rector, Canon David Hodgson, and David Spragg from the architects Acanthus Clews of Banbury. Among the guests were the High Steward of Wokingham, the Mayor of Wokingham and local Borough and Town Councillors.

Canon David Hodgson said: “We were very pleased with the evening and the support we received.  It was a great opportunity to share our vision for a renewed church building that will really be equipped in future to serve the needs of all sectors of this growing community.”

A new website has been launched with all the details of the Community Church 2020 plans.

Listen to or download here the speeches given by Rector, David Hodgson and by David Spragg from Acanthus Clews architects. (First speech by David Hodgson, second speech by David Spragg begins at 15 minutes 50 seconds)
