Church reopens! – and blessed by the bishop

We had a wonderful evening on Monday 19th June as we welcomed the Bishop of Oxford to bless and rededicate our church space following 16 months of building works! It was fantastic to see the church full of regulars, visitors and honoured guests, as well as a wonderful choir! We enjoyed a lovely service during which the bishop moved around the building to bless it, including to the new servery, to the ancient font and the new accessible door. After the services we shared in some scrummy canapes and bubbly to celebrate such a historic moment.

Sunday services are now back in church and the building will reopen fully later in the summer.

Thank you to Sue James for the fantastic photos!
