Rector of All Saints Church, Canon David Hodgson writes:
“Our Autumn 2018 concert series for Wokingham at All Saints Church is now ready for you to enjoy! There’s a mix of events with an emphasis this year on local connections and not forgetting the important 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
Wokingham Concerts at All Saints Church aims to support young people’s music talent and so our first concert in the series is by Wokingham-based university student Jasper Severn, playing a solo cello concert. Entry is free and open for this event and a retiring collection will be taken for the charity Breast Cancer Care. You will not be disappointed by this concert and you will have the opportunity to support a good cause. Check the details of the music on the concert website – link below
We are extremely excited to be welcoming internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Martyn Joseph on his US/UK 2018 tour. Winner of many folk music awards and known for the contemporary message of his songs, Martyn is also a stunning guitarist.
We are looking forward to welcoming back, by popular acclaim, What the Floyd, with their astonishingly energetic and accurate tribute to Pink Floyd and amazing light show, all of which looks and sounds fabulous inside the church.”
