All Saints Church’s Christian Aid representative Peter Barrett has put out a call for volunteers to get involved during Christian Aid Week 2017.
Peter has written to All Saints e-news as follows:
“This year Christian Aid Week takes place on May 14-20. I need to confirm collectors by the end of March. If you’re already a collector I will be in touch. If not, could you consider doing it this year? If collecting is not your thing, then please think about fundraising in other ways e.g. Getting sponsored for the CA walk at Bix, near Henley, on May 20. Or having a lunch for CA (soup/cheese& bread etc). Or put a jar in the kitchen and put in your loose change between now and May 20. Whatever you do, do something to raise funds for the very poor people on God’s good earth -they need it! If you want to collect or discuss anything related to CA Week please contact me. Many thanks.
