Sheena Kitto will be the new Parish Administrator for All Saints Church Wokingham. Sheena will be based in the Parish Office in The Cornerstone. She will take up her role on Monday 9th July.
Sheena has written about her background.
“I arrive at All Saints Parish after a 21-year career with an international construction and support services company where I worked in HR, Office Management and, most recently Building Management, where I had responsibility for the smooth running of the premises; ensuring its facilities met the needs of 100 staff and tenants. Originally from Durham, I moved to Wokingham where I lived for 37 years until a recent move to Warfield. Our first home was in Peach Street, my daughter attended Palmer and St Crispins schools and I have always worked within a 5-mile radius of Wokingham. My early career was in the caring sector, nursing and working with children and adults with learning difficulties.
My community interests are varied from volunteering on netball club and film society committees to arranging fundraising and corporate team-building work parties for local charities and I am an active member of a befriending scheme for the elderly. I am very much looking forward to my new position supporting the Parish and its diverse community and hope that my skills and experience can add value to the Team.”
Rector of the parish, Canon David Hodgson, said: ” We look forward very much to welcoming Sheena and working with her in the Parish Office. Sheena brings a wealth of experience in administration and office management systems. I have no doubt Sheena will help us enormously at All Saints Church as we move into a period, with the start of the Community Church project, of increased need for effective communication and administration.”
